The following is text from a radio advertisement that will be broadcasted by 20 radio stations throughout the state of West Virginia.
The PROMISE Scholarship application is hosted by WVMentor and is one of many links to WVMentor coming from WVApply.
Attention high school seniors, this is Governor Bob Wise.
Deadlines are fast approaching to file your application for the PROMISE Scholarship and the WV Higher Education Grant Program.
The PROMISE Scholarship pays full tuition at any West Virginia public college or university or an equivalent amount to an in-state private college.
Similarly, the Grant Program provides up to $2718 to qualified students who have demonstrated financial need.
Here are the key deadlines:
To apply for the PROMISE Scholarship, you must complete the common application for financial aid by January 31st.
To apply for the WV Higher Education Grant, you must complete the common application for financial aid by March 1st.

Finally, for both these programs, you must submit your FAFSA by March 1st.
